Design Challenge – Concrete

Event Description

Two cubes, two materials, one goal—maximum strength. Will the traditional heavyweight or the innovative lightweight outlast the other? Come and witness the dramatic faceoff!

Event Rules:
* To test the compressive strength of concrete cubes
* Typically 150mm x 150mm x 150mm.
* Casting, curing (7 days), and strength testing.
* Compression testing machine (CTM or UTM).
* Grade M35 * Can use admixtures
*Participants should cast 2 cubes of one should be traditional heavyweight and the other should be innovative lightweight cube.
* Light weight cube should be less in weight and should attain the strength
* Normal concrete cube should attain strength.
